Privacy

A short statement about how we handle school data.

Aldenfield is built for independent K–12 schools. The trust those schools extend us — and that families extend their schools — is the foundation of the product. The principles below describe how we approach that responsibility.

Principles

These are the commitments we make to every school we work with. A full data processing agreement is available on request.

Schools own their data

Records in Aldenfield belong to the school. We process them on the school’s behalf as a service provider and do not sell, rent, or share them with third parties for advertising.

Student data is held to FERPA

Personally identifiable information from education records is treated as confidential. Access is scoped to staff the school has authorized, logged, and limited to what a given role needs.

AI uses are governed

Model providers we use to power Aldenfield features are bound by contract not to train on customer data. Sensitive operations run on private infrastructure rather than public LLM endpoints.
